Lady Vikings Claim Third Straight Region Title on Senior Night Behind 23–3 Win Over Wade Hampton

LADY VIKINGS CLAIM THIRD STRAIGHT REGION TITLE ON SENIOR NIGHT BEHIND 23–3 WIN OVER WADE HAMPTON

The Lady Vikings defeated Wade Hampton 23 to 3 on Senior Night. With the win the Vikings claim their third Region Championship in a row and finish region play 6-0. Tonight, we recognized 7 seniors. Over the last 4 years, they have become the winningest class in Spartanburg Lacrosse History. To date, they have collected 54 career wins, 3 Region Championships, an Upper State Championships, and State Runner Up title. As a class, they have collected 16 All-Region awards and 7 all-state honors. Combined, they have recorded 1,008 points. The first class in Spartanburg lacrosse history to reach the 1,000-point milestone! We are so proud of the impact they have had on and off the field during their time at Spartanburg High School. In tonight’s win, the scoring was led by Evers Morris with 9 goals, Saffy Evans with 5, Addie Usry with 4, Brice Krydynski with 2, scoring one each were Virginia Delaney, Martha Barre, and Reese Sullivan. Brice Krydynski also had 4 assists in the win. The Viking draw team continued to dominate, Virginia Delaney grabbed 5 draw controls, Evers Morris with 5 and Brice Krydynski with 4. Defense caused 7 turnovers and Abby Hampton had 3 saves. The Vikings play their last regular season game on Thursday at River Bluff. Playoffs begin next week. Go Vikings!
