The Lady Vikings picked up their 10th win of the season on Tuesday night, defeating Greenville High School by a score of 24 to 4. The Viking attack led 16-2 at half. It was yet another milestone night for Senior, Evers Morris. She recorded 10 goals and 4 assists with 8 of those points coming in the first quarter. Evers reached the 200 goal and 300-point milestone and is the only Viking in history to do so. Adding to the scoring were Seniors, Addie Usry, Virginia Delaney, Saffy Evans who each had a hat trick. Scoring one a piece were, Abby Edwards, Madysen Bedenbaugh, Ann Tolly Taylor, Blythe Lemonds, and Martha Barre. At the draw, led by draw taker Brice Krydynski, the Vikings collected 19 draw controls. The Viking defense caused 11 turnovers in the win and only allowed 4 goals. Abby Hampton picked up 5 saves in cage. The Vikings take the field again on Friday as they travel to Boiling Springs in a region matchup. Spartanburg is currently ranked #1 in the region and Boiling Springs is ranked #2. Go Vikings!
